Lotro Fellowship Skills Guide

In Lotro fellowship skills are coordinated attacks you can only do when a target becomes vulnerable. Fellowship skills are also called fellowship maneuvers, fellowship combos, and conjunctions. Fellowship skills occur randomly when fighting an elite or when a burglar or guardian initiates one. You can view the fellowship skills you have performed by going to your Character Journal. Under the Skills tab there is a tab titled Fellowship Skills.

Skills that Start a Fellowship Maneuver

Keep in mind that these skills can only work if the target is not under stun immunity. For example, targets that come out of any classes' mez effect or a stun from a mace or hammer attack. Stun immunity usually lasts 10 seconds.

You can knock an enemy down, opening up an opportunity to use Fellowship skills if you are in a Fellowship. Only useable while in Stealth.

Guardian Skills
 ImageTurn the Tables36You are able to knock down a target in response to being knocked down.
 ImageTo the King45You are able to make a powerful attack against an enemy who has suffered from Overwhelm or Thrust, potentially knocking it down.

Fellowship Skills Step by Step

  1. "X has broken the defences of Y" will appear in chat
  2. a Fellowship Skill Wheel pops up for all fellowship members level 12 and above
  3. whatever you were in the middle of doing finishes - you can click a color, but it will not be added to the fellowship skill que until after the animation has finished
  4. battle between your fellow and one creature is paused (other creatures around you are not paused)
  5. if you don't have the right target selected a bullseye will appear for you to click
  6. a fellowship skill que is started when the first person clicks a color - a colored symbol appears above their head
  7. the second person clicks a color and adds to the fellowship skill que, the third person adds to the que, etc
  8. fellows that do not choose a color are excluded from the fellowship skill
  9. you will know the order and color of the que by watching for colored symbols to appear toward the top of the screen after your fellow members have clicked a color
  10. move to cancel your que order and start over with a new order and color if there is still time
  11. the fellowship skill is performed - there is a special animation
  12. the target become invulnerable to fellowship manuevers for a period of one minute

Fellowshp Skill Color Breakdown

Each color in the fellowshp skill wheel stands for something.

Blue = Power Restoration
Stallions Spirit is used to restore the blue bar of power. At tier 5 and 6 (with 5 or more fellows) some combinations using Stallions Spirit can summon a powerful shade of a fallen warrior to aid you in battle.

Red = Melee Damage
Ent's Strength is used to do direct melee damage to the target. At tier 6 (full fellows with 6 players) some combinations using Ent's Strength cause a powerful AOE (area of effect) attack that has a radius of 10 meters.

Yellow = Damage Over Time
Spider's Guile is mainly used to do damage over time to your foe. At tier 5 and 6 (with 5 or more fellows) some combinations using Spider's Guile cause debuffs that drain power and slow the target.

Green = Heal Over Time
Eagle's Cry is used to heal the entire fellowship over time. At tier 5 and 6 (with 5 or more fellows) some combinations using Eagle's Cry can cure fear and wounds.

Fellowship Skill Combinations

  • dd = direct damage - melee damage is dealt by the attacker(s) who chose red.
  • dot = initial melee attack + damage over time - damage is dealt by the attacker(s) who chose yellow
  • p = power - power is given to the entire fellowship
  • hot = heal over time - moral or health is given over time to the entire fellowship
  • aoe = area of effect damage - tier 6 red players do a powerful aoe melee attack
  • sd = slow debuff - a 15 second delayed debuff that slows target down and reduces its attack speed
  • dsd = drain + slow debuff - 15-second countdown debuff effect that will damage the target's power and slow the target's attack and movement speed when the countdown is complete.
  • ss = summons shade - summons one or more powerful shades of a fallen warrior to aid you in battle
  • cf = cure fear - cures all fear effects
  • cw = cure wounds - cures all wound effects
Hint: because damage is dealt only by those who choose red or yellow, it is best to assign these colors to high dps classes like hunters and champions.
